Life and music are one with Stanley, Wisconsin metal guitar genius and singer, Barry D. Anderson, who started playing and writing music at age six. He began performing with his brother, Randall Anderson (keys) and schoolmate, Ed Stewart (drums) in several bands since age 12. Now they have magically formed, “Barrun/Runes”. A name that’s original and stands out for people to remember, Barrun/Runes plays all originals, but also mix in some great cover songs too. You can definitely hear influences of Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Dream Theater, Disturbed, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and Rush in their performances.
