This year’s election is crucial as ever. Many registered voters do not vote in the mid-term elections, the turnout is extremely low compared to the presidential elections. Only about 60% of eligible voters turnout for the presidential and only about 40% turnout for the midterm elections! Compared to other healthy democratic countries, the United States ranks extremely low for all election voter turnouts. Many Americans do not understand the importance of voting or have lost their faith in the system. You have to understand all that’s at stake. Choosing our country's leaders and creating Constitutional Amendments will affect your life personally, especially during the mid-term elections. You're deciding your community’s leaders, such as your state’s Representatives, Senators, Governor, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, Commissioner of Agriculture, City Commissioners, Judges, Mayors, School Board Members, City Council Members and Amendments. These candidates will choose how your community is ran and many of their decisions will affect you and your loved ones for the next four years.

Your Vote Counts!
With only a 40% voter turnout for the midterm election, casting your ballot this year can actually change the direction and outcome of the election. Now people are getting extremely tired of the two party system. Choosing between Republican and Democrat has turned into choosing for the lesser evil. Even hardcore Republicans and Democrats are unhappy with their party’s choice candidate. Millions and Millions of dollars are being dumped into negative Republican and Democrat campaign ads that are flooding our televisions, emails, phones, and mail. It’s turning everyone off and giving us a chance to look at other candidates running for the same position, different parties and no party affiliations are popping up on the ballot more and more each year. This year non Republican and Democrat candidates have a pretty good chance of getting into office. A huge problem for these candidates, they cannot get the same exposure as Republican and Democratic candidates because they do not receive money from major contributors such as mega corporations and billionaire personal interest groups or individuals. Judges block third party candidates all the time from political debates. An example, the Governor debate in Florida, a Broward county judge ordered to block Libertarian Candidate Adrian Wyllie from the debate against Republican Governor Rick Scott and former Governor Republican changed Democrat Charlie Crist just days before. Most people watch tv to decide which candidate they are going to vote for. With only being able to see two parties talk, the public can’t hear what the other candidates have to say about important topics or most of the time people don’t even know anyone else was running until they see the name on the ballot.
Two Outstanding Libertarian Candidates That Could Win!
The best exposure is word of mouth and I’m not here to endorse any candidate or tell you who to vote for. I had the pleasure of meeting two very intelligent Libertarian candidates running for office this election and I feel the public deserves to know more about all candidates who are running in the elections. Plus, these gentlemen blew me away with their knowledge and ideas on politics and how to get rid of the two party system. Both candidates came and spoke at my event, “Yes On 2 Beach Bash Music Festival” that I hosted on Nov. 2nd in support of Florida’s Amendment 2. It is a huge controversial issue in this Florida election. I was gratefully honored to informally interview both of them I’ll tell you it was just like talking to good friends. Both were very down to Earth and expressed amazing ideas to lead Florida in a positive direction.
Bill Wohlsifer Libertarian Candidate for Florida Attorney General
Libertarian candidate for Florida Attorney General, Bill Wohlsifer is the other candidate up against Republican Pam Bondi and Democrat George Sheldon. Bill has a pretty good chance winning office this year with many people being unhappy with the other candidates and
Lucas Overby Libertarian Candidate for Florida’s 13th Congressional District
Libertarian candidate for Florida’s 13th Congressional District Lucas Overby is the only candidate up against Republican David Jolly. Overby has a huge chance to win in this race. He can attract the Democrat voters, Lucas told me he has been reaching out to the democrat voters and knows they have three options. “One, vote for the Republican. Two, don’t vote for anyone. Three, vote for me.”
Lucas Overby is a smart young handsome 28 year old. I was shocked when he informed me his age because even though he looks young, hearing him talk about all his knowledge made me think he was a lot older. Lucas got into politics when he was barely the minimum age to qualify at 25. He told me Being so young, its hard to be respected because most people think a candidate should being much older.
