Amy Kypers Interview
How does it feel to be a winner of the Journey Gym System? How do you like your system? Have you tried it out yet?
"It feels great to win a free Journey Gym system. I love working out at home and I am always looking for new programs to try. I just completed Day 4 and so far, I really like the system."
Tell me a little about yourself and why you decided to join the challenge?
"I am 47 years old and a fitness enthusiast. I work full time while juggling 3 teenage children who have are constantly on the go. I decided to join the challenge because last May I had ACL reconstructive surgery and I could not workout like I used to. It has been a long, slow recovery process and I am ready to get back in the swing of things to working out 5-7 days a week. Also, I like the fact that the Journey Gym is portable and the workouts are short, but effective."
The Challenge is started last Saturday. Did you put in your measurements and weight? Do you want to share those measurements in the article?
"I weighed myself and took all my measurements and I am looking forward to seeing my results at the end of the 70 day challenge. See attached picture below and yes, you may use them in the article."
What kind of exercising have you done with the Journey Gym System?
"Each day, I receive an email with my daily workout and a short fit tip to help guide us to a more healthy lifestyle. Journey Gym uses H.I.T. training which means High Intensity Training. The workouts so far alternate between strength and cardio exercises."
What are your goals for the challenge?
"My goal for the challenge is to lower my body fat by 3% and increase muscle mass that was lost after surgery."
What are you looking most forward to about the challenge?
"I am looking forward to helping others complete the challenge with me and just getting back in the habit of working out daily. It is great being able to have a support team to keep each other accountable throughout the challenge."
How much time do you plan to dedicate to the challenge?
"I plan to follow the program completely which means at least 10-30 minutes, 5-7 days a week."
How would you rate your current health?
"My current health is excellent."
Thank you Amy Kypers for letting us feature you for the Get Up-n-GoGo 70 Day Health Challenge! Tune in weekly to see what happens next!
